Introduction

The Drayton Harbor Community Oyster Farm is a community-based project, which is off to a great start. This project is being managed by the Puget Sound Restoration Fund, which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that restores marine and watershed habitats throughout Puget Sound. The objectives of this 3-year project are detailed below:

Objectives of the Community Oyster Farm

  1. Start and operate a community oyster farm.
  2. Build community support for water quality improvements.
  3. Eliminate specific sources of pollution.
  4. Generate ongoing revenue for water quality improvements.
